Jasmin of Estudio Rojo and I connected on Instagram. She had drawn her logo, but needed an extra hand perfecting it. Using a scanned image of her hand lettering, I created a clean, ready to go rendition for her to use in branding her new shop. We collaborated on a small square ER design as well, which she’ll be able to use on small avatars for Etsy and social media.
Designed by hand by customer; perfected using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
I created a simple personal logo to brand my resume + online portfolio. I’ve since combined efforts, showcasing all work through my yelloh! site, however, my resume can still be seen via the link above.

A custom designed logo was created for up-and-coming band, Bird and Beast, for the launch of their new album. The concept simply illustrated the group’s varied influences + directions through the idea of bird and beast and everything in between.
Designed using Adobe Illustrator and some hand-lettering.
A friend of mine started a sweet, personal, and inspiring blog named elle bee lovely. She needed a logo that would capture the essence of the loveliness within her written words. Using soft colors and fonts, along with subtle custom details, I created a simple and clean base for her branding.
To expand upon the idea behind her name, I illustrated a plump little bee softened with a watercolor effect to be used throughout her blog and social media accounts.
As a backdrop to her entire blog, I designed a tiling pattern to subtly play upon the basic geometry of a honeycomb, while also having a softened vintage chicken wire aesthetic.
All components designed using a mix of Adobe programs and good ol’ fashioned hand drawing.
Designed for a new events company, this logo features a pineapple which is considered to be a symbol of hospitality. Making up the texture of the pineapple is a custom pattern using the company’s initials. I designed coordinating business cards + stationery for this client as well.

I was thrilled to take on this project for The Green Kangaroo because the chalkboard trend has been sweeping couples off their feet — almost more than the mason jar craze! To set this design apart from competitors’ invitations, I went for an entirely hand-drawn romantic feel, while keeping it relatively simple.
I carried out the design concept through various other items in the suite, including: response + accessory cards, save the dates, and day of items such as place cards, table cards, and programs.
Designed using Adobe Illustrator CS5, Photoshop, and InDesign. Photo styled and shot by me; originally used for a small self-authored feature on Between Designs blog.
Hand illustrated birds and an artistic floral design adorn this cheerful holiday card. I designed this double-sided card for The Green Kangaroo’s holiday collection to appeal to customers looking for a subtle, yet festive style suitable for a combined seasonal photo engagement announcement, save the date, or even birth announcement. I created this card in three color options.
